Caillou made our 2 1/2 year old daughter's sometimes whinny behavior turn extreme. We realized the bald and mostly ambiguous Caillou was a king whinner and so we forbid Caillou watching and instead opted for Kipper (the dog). Two months later, NO MORE WHINNY WHINNY!! It was an awesome improvement and not to mention, mom and dad really like. Drawn from the popular animated television series, the Clubhouse books follow Caillou as he continues to explore the world around him and gain a better understanding of his environment. This boxed set with plastic handle for easy carrying includes six bestsellers from the series. Full color.4/5(1).

Caillou and his Dad spend the day cleaning up their bicycles and decorating them with items they find around the house to make them "as good as new". Printed on % recycled paper with soy based inks make this Ecology Club series book even better/5(2).   Caillou is a pretty notorious figure in the parenting world. Although many kids love the little bald guy and his eponymous show, he’s often the bane of their parents’ existence. From the main character’s whiny voice to the annoying theme song to the seemingly pointless storylines, there are many reasons “Caillou” gets on grownups.

6 hours ago  Space inside the library's fantastic Wolfson Reading Room - with its huge dome roof and wonderful echo - has been reduced from to 60, but it is open. Even books themselves will be treated. Caillou’s point of view, rather than the reality seen by parents and educators, is the basis for each book. If Caillou’s parents sometimes seem to possess only good qualities, it’s because a child of Caillou’s age still sees his parents as models to be imitated; young children normally idealize the external world.

My library. THE CAILLOU URBAN LEGEND. The most popular Caillou urban legend tells the story of a boy named Caillou who has cancer and is going through treatments that have made him bald. The reason his parents let him get his way all the time (even if he’s being whiny or bratty) is because they know he’s ill and they just can’t bear to tell him “no”.

Caillou the Librarian - Caillou is excited about showing Rosie the ropes when they visit the library. During storytime Caillou imagines he's in the story, riding on a dolphin. Later he and Rosie argue over a book and accidentally tear it. He doesn't want to tell the librarian, but finally musters up the courage to.

Caillou probably wouldn’t annoy me so much if so much of really young kids’ culture wasn’t how do I put this delicately crap. Most kids’ books, and I mean the ones at the youngish end of the spectrum here, are terrible, little more than a bound set of descriptions.

A series of books by Chouette Publishing are what inspired the original TV series of "Caillou".==Books by year=. CAILLOU is an enjoyable cartoon about a 4-year-old boy who lives with his parents and little sister, Rosie.

Each program has a theme and is divided into several short, attention-holding sections that mix animation, puppet skits, and video of kids in real-life situations.

Another fun book in the set is My First Vacation which is a lift-the-flap book. In this particular story (which is simply told) Caillou is going on an airplane trip with his parents. As children read along with the story, they can lift the flaps to see inside the cockpit and to look at the clouds outside the airplane window.

Purchased three Caillou books only to find out my inexpensive kindle can't receive these books. One unhappy 3 1/2 year old boy. Read more. Helpful.

Caillou is a horrible show that teaches kids how not to behave. My daughter actually started to behave much worse after being exposed to this show than she did before seeing it. The Forest of Inside-Out is a very special place, where even the animals can talk (its how they get whats inside them out).

In the Forest of Inside-Out you can only tell the truth, and you have to see and deal with things, for yourself, exactly as they are. Henry gets to find out whats inside Henry and those who love him, and how that makes him.
